End Of The Year with Muse, 09.12.2006
After missing all my planned concerts in November (Kaiser Chiefs, Chrashing Dreams and Yo La Tengo,
Kaizers Orchestra, OHL on stage at the Café Central in Weinheim, Sophia and Stereo Total) I made it at
least to one gig in December: Muse at the Zenith in Munich. Somehow I do not like this place,
it is to big and to impersonal, but like it is with big bands, they are just playing big venues….
Anyway I wish you all the best for 2007 and hopefully tons of more pictures here on Rock The Cam.

AFI - Sensation White, 06.10.2006
Luckily I bought my ticket for this show in advance, cause it was sold out. The reason?
The Explosion was opening for AFI (A Fire Inside) who where just playing 3 gigs in Germany to support their new album Decemberunderground.
Totally dressed in white, on a white stage Davey Havok, Jade Puget, Hunter and Adam Carson
were doing everything to rock the house (and I can tell you they did!). Concert pictures here on Rock The Cam.

Billy Talent II, 24.09.2006
second time around in a short time period, last time the Elserhalle was sold out and this time it was the Tonhalle. But I mean with two really great albums and even big success, it is all right!
I did not get the opening act Reuben but you will find pictures of
Billy Talent rocking Munich again. Great show. Let's see what will be next!

After I have missed quite a lot of other groups I was able to get hold of the indie rock band
Blek Le Roc from Munich and

Theatron the 2.nd with Mediengruppe Telekommander 12.08.2006
today a band which the program describes as follows: hip hop meets electro beats meets indie guitars. These two fellows are know as
Mediengruppe Telekommander and were lucky to have a Saturday evening with nice weather and a good mood in the crowd.

The Nine, Kate Mosh and Crash Tokio at Theatron festival, 10.08.2006
Always nice to take a trip to this festival next to the lake at the Olympiapark. Rock The Cam was able to get pictures of following bands:

Open Air Party, 28 / 29 / 30.07.06
Each year there is a big open air in Karlsruhe which is called “Das Fest”. Always worth coming, cause
Karlsruhe is a cool place, mostly the weather is good, it does not cost any entrance fee and lots of music!!!
This time there were about 200.000 people getting together for this concert – or better for this event.

Zu Gast bei Freunden - Schein23, 01.07.2006
I went to Karlsruhe to watch the world championship soccer games and afterwards went to the Hadiko. The "Summerparty" was happening there.
Unfortunately I did not catch The Razorblades but I could take some concertpictures of
Schein 23 before the police came and turned down the volume...

sold out show at the Elserhalle. Unfortunately I missed the opening act Julia, but I was lucky enough to get hold of the show of
Billy Talent. And they kicked ass again! Although everything is getting bigger it is still great! And in a few days, get their record!

Against Me! where doing to support their new album "searching for a former clarity". Playing the small and wonderful club called Kafe Kult in Munich for a really fair price as well! They rocked the house

Be Your Own Pet: Lost moments and teenagers, 10.04.06
It seems to me that 2006 will not be my concert year. This is not because there are no events, not really but that somehow my private life doesn’t want me to go to Walter Schreifels and his Walking Concert, or The Briefs (Shit this is not fair) or Kaizers Orchestra. But after all I made it to
Be Your Own Pet playing at the Ampere.
