This time the show was a Canadian package, including Cancer Bats and Silverstein as opener. ↑ Die Skeptiker, Betontod and Executed 13.11.2009 A threesome Punk Rock night in Munich! The venue called Backstage was packed and Executed were the one to open the pogo party. Followed by Betontod and finally Die Skeptiker, old east German Punk Rock band. ↑ Born in time Saint Vitus with Wino 28.04.2009 Way back in Doom there was the creation of creepiness. On the first day god created Black Sabbath and the afterbirth was Saint Vitus! And St. Vitus were finally back on tour with the classic line up including Scott Wino Weinrich, Dave Chandler, Mark Adams and Armando Acosta. Saint Vitus presented a god song mixture from different LPs like Hallow’s Victim, Born Too Late, Saint Vitus, V, Mournful Cries and to cut a long story short: a concert worth being - photos here. ↑ Soundwave Discovery with Razorlight 11.04.2009The headliner for the Soundwave Discovery Tour 2009 in Munich was Razorlight. Lots of newcomer bands and Johnny Borrell and his gang were there to rock the packed Muffathalle. I did not know that Razorlight are already that big or was it because the show was for free? Up all night with the golden touch!↑ Trapped here with Jay Reatard and Golden Helmets 18.03.2009 I finally made it to a concert at a live venue called Gebaude 9 in Cologne: the line up was Golden Helmets from Solingen – Germany supporting Jay Reatard from Memphis USA. The Golden Helmets opened this live music event with their soul infected punk rock and then Jay Reatard took the stage and kicked down his set. Take a look at the pictures, there is even a none totally hairy photo of Jay Reatard. ↑ Gaslight Anthem, Frank Turner, Polar Bear Club 21.02.2009 Saturday night fever and a sold out show at the 59 : 1 in Munich. The reason was a line up with three bands including The Gaslight Anthem as headliner, no wonder the tickets were all gone.
